What I've Watched In 2019

As I have continually done since 2012, I documented everything I've watched (projected/digital movies, documentaries and completed episodic series/miniseries events) in 2019. 2019 was a challenging continuation of 2018. Another year blurred into the next, mired with big and little problems colliding with each other: navigating the legal system (especially the WV DMV) about my dead father, trying to cope with the political and global insanity, the layers of natural disasters from month to month, and watching climate change occur in real time before my very eyes since my birth in 1975. Also, the onset of sudden Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, the "upper respiratory infection" that just wouldn't go away for 8 weeks, and oral surgery forcing the last 2 months of 2019 into "healing mode" all combined for quite a number of times to visually consume more than I usually have accomplished in the past. Needless to say, I had some "time on my hands and mind" late many a night as a "functioning" insomniac. Luckily, it has become tradition (and now enjoyable habit) to reflect on what I watched in the past year during those difficult and insomniacal hours of my life; contemplating life, death, and (still) trying to connect to "grief" through meaning - sometimes from the very things I have watched. So, I am happily carrying on my tradition of declaring my "top" favorites to match the year's last two digits.

Remember: these are not strictly "made in 2019" titles. Rather, it's everything I've visually (and mentally) consumed DURING 2019 which I have either never seen or seen in its "intended" completed/remastered/uncut/final state in my lifetime.
